What is Wedding Insurance:
Wedding insurance is exactly what it sounds like – financial protection for your wedding, should some mishap, misfortune or uncontrollable circumstance arise.
What is covered: (Just a few examples)
Limo Driver is a “no show” on the big day and you have to hire a new one at three time the original cost.
Reception hall goes out of business a month before the wedding – covers lost deposit and cost to book another.
Winter wedding – massive snow storm, wedding has to be postponed – covers cost associated with rescheduling.

Policy Coverages and Definitions:
Personal Liability
This coverage provides liability protection for losses arising from alleged bodily injury and property damage, which includes supplemental defense.
Coverage Deductibles
The deductible for Personal Liability and the optional coverages offered as part of the Personal Liability coverage are selected in Item #1. Personal Liability and optional Medical Payments have no deductible. Property Damage Liability offers deductibles starting at $1,000 up to $10,000.
The deductible for coverages listed as Items #2-9 on the questionnaire can be selected at the bottom of the questionnaire. Deductibles for coverage Items #2-9 start at $25.
Cancellation/Postponement
This coverage pays for the non- refundable expenses incurred when the event or honeymoon must be canceled or postponed, for reasons beyond your control.
Gifts
This coverage pays to repair or replace gifts that are lost, stolen or damaged anywhere within the policy territory
Jewelry
This coverage pays to repair or replace jewelry you own, when it is lost, stolen or damaged anywhere within the policy territory.
Loss of Deposits
This coverage pays lost deposits that you have paid if they become nonrefundable because someone you hired to provide goods or services went out of business.
Photographs and Video
This coverage pays to retake the photographs or video recording if the photographer/videographer fails to appear, disappears after the wedding with your wedding pictures or video, or the pictures are lost, damaged or stolen.
Professional Counseling
This coverage pays for professional counseling prescribed by a medical physician and resulting from a covered cancellation.
Rented Property
This coverage pays to repair or replace items rented to facilitate the production of the wedding, such as tents, marquees, tables, chairs, generators or portable toilets, to name a few.
Special Attire
This coverage pays to repair or replace the bridal gown, the mother of the bride’s gown and all other bridal party attire, if it is lost, stolen or damaged (including financial failure of the bridal store, tailor or seamstress) within the policy territory.
